Greeting from the Rockwell Lake Lodge, where social distancing comes naturally! We’ve been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation, and we’re excited to responsibly reopen the Lodge to visitors while continuing to follow Michigan state safety and sanitation guidelines.

When does the Rockwell Lake Lodge open?

The Rockwell Lake Lodge opens June 10th to individual and family reservations. While we have been closed in compliance with state regulations, we can now reopen while following certain guidelines. You can book your stay online, or call us at (517) 437-3311 for help with a reservation. 

Is it safe to come to the Rockwell Lake Lodge?

The safety and wellbeing of our guests is our foremost priority, as well as the health of our guest services staff. The Rockwell Lake Lodge will follow the American Hotel and Lodging Association’s industry-accepted Safe Stay cleaning guidelines. This includes the following measures and more: 

Contactless check-in / check out

Guests are able to check in to the Lodge (ID verification required) and collect their room key which will be pre-assigned and ready for you when you arrive. Check out can also be contactless as billing will be completed with the card on file after guest’s departure.  

Extra cleaning of high-touch areas

We’ve increased the disinfection of most frequently touched room areas, such as light switches, door handles, remotes, thermostats and more. Front desk areas, public restrooms, coffee areas, and lobbies will also be disinfected regularly throughout the day. 

Providing disinfectant and hand sanitizer at the front desk

For your convenience we are providing hand sanitizer to all guests.

Rockwell Lake Lodge Staff

As a precautionary measure, all housekeepers and front desk attendants will be wearing masks and gloves during interactions with guests.

Refreshing of Lodge suites

To ensure your safety and privacy, Lodge suites will only be refreshed every 3 days during your stay. Should you need any additional towels or amenities, please contact the front desk.
